Salary: from £20,857.00 pa (+ shift allowance of £3,136.50 pa) + quarterly bonus

Are you seeking a fresh challenge in a vibrant and expanding business? We have a number of fantastic Customer Service Representative opportunities to join our team in Huddersfield.

As the UK's leading incident management and roadside services company, FMG serve a range of clients in the public and private sectors, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from our operations centre in Huddersfield. FMG has extensive experience managing the most complex of incidents ranging from road traffic collisions to heavy goods vehicles carrying hazardous chemicals. We work closely with Highways England and a number of police forces across the UK.

Role Overview:

Due to continued business growth in a number of specialist areas the Rapid Response team is looking to recruit talented individuals to provide comprehensive, 24/7 telephone support service to those in need of urgent assistance. Each call is unique and the type of support provided is entirely dependent upon the specific requirements of each incident.

In all cases the Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact for those reporting incidents to the operations centre. No two incidents are ever the same. The primary objective in all cases is to get the nearest vehicle recovery operator with the correct equipment to the scene within agreed timescales and to manage the incident to a successful conclusion.

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative, you are:

  • a strong communicator with great decision making skills and a real team player
  • a real team player, able to quickly develop a rapport with customers and partners over the phone
  • focussed on delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Able to effectively manage pressured situations in a sensitive and professional way
  • A confident user of both telephone and office-based IT systems

This is a Full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week on a flexible shift basis over a 24 hour period. Shifts rotate on a 4 week basis, working alternate weekends.
