Pot Washer/Kitchen Assistant

We are hiring at Flint Mountain Hotel!

We are looking for a pot wash assistant to work in our busy restaurant kitchen.

The role is to work as part of the team and supporting the kitchen with the quick turnaround of the dishes using the equipment provided to ensure we have a full selection of dishes ready for the busy periods.

Examples of pot wash responsibilities are to operate the industrial Dishwasher and to wash other implements by hand when necessary. You would also need empty and clean all rubbish bins and clean the dish storage areas. You would need to follow sanitation policies at all times and all follow health and safety procedures. You may also need to perform opening, closing and side work and clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, take pride in their work and will enjoy working as part of a busy and friendly team.

16 - 20 Hours per week working with varying shifts

Hours and days of work may vary due to busy periods - weekends will be required

Salary: £5.00-£10.00 per hour
