Junior Fire Risk Assessor/Type 4 FRA Assistant – Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is looking to building their career in fire safety. Currently we have a role available which is a junior fire risk assessors undertaking low risk fire risk assessments, but also attending site with our senior fire risk assessors when undertaking
Type 4 destructive FRAs on a variety of buildings supporting with the destructive and snagging requirements while at the same time gaining knowledge and experience from the senior assessor.

Key Skills / Responsibilities as a Fire Risk Assessors
- Provide fire safety advice.
- Undertaking simple destructive elements for assessor to assess.
- Supporting the assessor with completing the snagging and making good when once assessor has completed the assessing.
- Complete assessment visits: gather evidence as required including photos.
- Produce reports and risk assessments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleague.
- Assist sales team as required with regulations and recommending key questions task clients.
- Assess and identify hazards and potential risk.
- Prepare detailed reports to show fire safety findings from assessments completed.
- Follow and keep up to date current fire safety legislation and guidelines.
- Keep up to date with changes in the guidelines and legislation.
- Work alongside key stakeholders.
- Produce fire safety action plans as require.
- Take responsibility for your continuing professional development (CPD).
- Travelling to client sites.
The Role:
- Reporting daily to Josie Keam – Operations Team Leader
- Sending written reports within correct timeframes
- Attending weekly teams call with Josie to discuss the previous week and plan for the following week
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
