What is the Housekeeper / Cleaner job?

You will ensure that a 5* wedding venue is clean, tidy, and ready for guests to enjoy their wedding day. A typical day involves cleaning the wedding venue itself and preparing the guest rooms for the wedding party to stay in after the wedding reception. You need to work to deadlines, so the venue is at its best for every wedding party to arrive and enjoy their special day. You will typically work from 7am until the venue is ready and finished at around 1pm and you will normally have a 15-30 minute break.

What skills and experience do you need?

The Housekeeper / Cleaner position doesn’t require any specific experience or skills, however the following general skills, personality and a customer focused approach are required:

• Good communication skills and friendly personality.
• Team work and ability to work using your own initiative
• Highly responsible and reliable
• A valid driving licence and car
• A good level of fitness and mobility
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to do a proper job every time
