Weekend Filmmaking Teacher

We are the Film & TV Academy in Aylesbury. We are a weekend children's activity club, teaching filmmaking & acting to students - once a week on a Sunday.

We run x2 sessions every Sunday: A 3 hour morning session, and a 3 hour afternoon session (separated by a lunch break)

We are looking for a filmmaker to come on board to teach a class of students aged 8 - 12. The sessions are hands on practical filmmaking. We provide all the film equipment and training, and the teacher guides students through short film projects based off the kids ideas and starring them. Teachers then edit these films outside of the sessions.

Ideal candidates will be filmmakers who know how to operate a DSLR film kit and can edit.

Pay is £20 per hour.

This is an opportunity for a filmmaker to earn extra income through teaching one day a week, inspiring young people to make films and create content.

Previous teaching experience is a bonus but not a necessity. We're looking for filmmakers who would like this kind of opportunity.
