Labourer

Ferns Surfacing is a leading utilities contractor, providing tailored reinstatement services to major clients, mainly in the Gas, Water and Telecoms Utility Sectors

We are looking for a Labourer/Operative to work on various group construction projects and to carry out some general tasks.

Candidates must be reliable, take pride in the work they are doing and be available to work extra hours if needed.

Hours: 45 hours per weekMonday to Friday

Day to day tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• General labouring duties; clearing sites, digging, mowing etc.
• General maintenance duties; painting and decorating
• Valeting of vehicles
• transporting, assembling and installing new office furniture

Requirements:

• Reliable with good time keeping
• Experience in a similar role
• Able to perform daily manual duties as described above
• A full UK driving license is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Salary: £120.00-£130.00 per day

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

• Maidstone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
