Self Employed Courier

We are currently looking for a driver to drive one of our company vehicles.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, plus occasional weekends and flexibility needed to suit the business (early starts or late night finishes - additional payments for these)

As a self employed Van Driver you will be driving one of our Long Wheel Based vans or Luton curtain side.

The role will mainly require you to carry out various deliveries around the UK, these deliveries are primarily business to business.

Some handball may be required at some of the delivery points. Equipment provided to adhere to health and safety regulations.

This role will involve:

• Complete multi drop and Ad-hoc deliveries and ensure deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently
• Sorting, Loading and Unloading of your vehicle
• Heavy lifting may be involved
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report mechanical or electrical issues
• Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met.

• Ensure correct completion of paperwork
• Comply with customer site health and safety procedures and observe delivery site speed limits
• Ensure all paperwork is signed and dated by customer
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy Vehicle
• Observe the highway code and all notified speed limits
• Safe Driving: Adhere to all safety regulations on the road

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 Years
• Maximum of 6 points with no active IN, DR, DD, TT or CD codes
• Experience in driving long wheel base vans (preferred).
• Experience in courier work is preferred but not essential.

• Have good spoken and written English
• Able to commute to a from the delivery station located in Bradford.

• delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

• Driving License (preferred)
