BI Engineer

We’re looking for a BI Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Services area. Hands-on engineering will be your primary focus, working within a cross-functional platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively alongside our existing team.

As a BI Engineer at Evri you will be working within a Squad of other BI and ETL Engineers using agile methodologies, conforming to the standards for technology best practice and working with key stakeholders to facilitate the efficient delivery of products across the Business.

Your Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining Hana/Webi/SAC/BO deliverables
• Supporting the SAP platform in hours and via an on-call rota outside of the core hours
• Reviewing the existing Hermes SAP implementations and leveraging your knowledge to suggest improvements
• Contributing to collaborative problem solving within the SAP chapter
• Working closely with the BI and MI teams to deliver business value through the SAP platform
• Attending and contributing to data design authority workshops to ensure that any data deliverables align with the enterprise data model
• Working with the Squad and ‘Data Services’ Product Manager and Product Owner to make sure that the tasks you are working on are conducive to on-time, quality deliverables

Your Experience

Does this sound like you?

• Knowledge of SQL (PL/SQL or T-SQL)
• Experience of encouraging cross functional development practices
• Experience with BO/Webi/SAC/Hana
• Knowledge of Amazon Glue, Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), PySpark / Notebook
• Experience of encouraging cross functional development practices
• Collaborative problem solving as part of a team
