Executive Assistant (EA)

£32,000 - £40,000

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone with excellent Executive Assistant skills and experience who has a deep commitment to the values of Every Run Counts (www.everyruncounts.co.uk).

Overview of the role

Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the EA will be responsible for non-revenue generating operations/systems to ensure that they run seamlessly and efficiently. This will involve providing operational support, management information and administrative support to all the team.

As part of our growth there will be a need for the EA to adapt systems and processes to enable growth and efficiency.

This role is remote working and full time.

Job Description and accountabilities

  • Organising meetings, appointments and events.
  • Compiling and preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Liaising with staff, events organisers, charities and our members.
  • Conducting research on behalf of the senior team.
  • Diary management for the team including organising meetings, appointments and events.
  • Extensive and efficient email correspondence.
  • Management of miscellaneous issues.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that the senior management team is aware of broader priorities and issues.
  • Support tracking of budgets and expenses.
  • Format information for internal and external communications, memos, emails, presentations and reports.
  • Be proactive and stay on top of forthcoming actions and deliverables that need planning.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Relevant work experience
  • Communication skill: Strong written and verbal communication skills to relate with people, as well as produce reports and correspondences.
  • Organisational skills: Take initiative, be focused and responsible and have the ability to prioritise and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary.
  • Interpersonal skills: The ability to manage relationships, minimise conflict and provide excellent customer care.
  • Project management skills: project management skills to achieve the goals of the business working through and with cross-functional teams/units/stakeholders etc.
  • A passion for Every Run Counts – possibly the most essential of all requirements!

Desirable:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in a related field
