Job Role: Social Media Intern

Location: Exhall, Coventry

Duration: 6 month temporary contract. This will be reviewed at the end of this period - possibility for full time work offer. Part time/ Full time hours dependant on Business needs.

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our team at our head office in Exhall, Coventry. This role will cover two of our rapidly growing companies within our business: Event Support Team and Evans Cash and Carry.

Event Support Team is a leading events company that manages events from the planning stage to the day of the event. We specialize in car park and traffic management with our own in-house ANPR system to make ingress and egress as smooth as possible. We have worked at some of the largest events in the world, including the Rugby World Cup, Champions League Final, Olympics, and many more.

Evans Cash and Carry opened in December 2020 and quickly established a reputation for providing the highest level of customer service to both retail and wholesale customers. We are expanding to new locations in the UK, including Erdington Birmingham which opened in November 2022. We offer a wide range of products at discount prices, including food, drink, homeware, and gardenware, and a home delivery service within a 30 mile radius.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of our social media strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of social media marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of social media content (e.g. posts, graphics, videos)
• Schedule and publish daily social media posts across multiple platforms
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in social media
• Track and report on social media performance metrics

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Passion for social media and marketing
