Position Overview & Specifications

We are now looking for a
SAP ERP Specialist to strengthen our global ICT team. ERP systems form the core of business processes and are in a key role processing and following the business transactions, running the operations and making decisions at Evac. The ERP Specialist has the overall technical view on an ERP system at Evac and responsibility of the development activities related to these systems; developing new functionalities, supporting users with their problems and working together with our business applications team, key users and system vendors.

Purpose of role

  • Key role in running Evac’s ERP maintenance and development activities.
  • With help of our global ICT team the development partners, you will handle the support requests, guide the users, collect and implement improvement ideas and configurations to the system.
  • Day-to-day activities will include continuous communication with different stakeholders; solving problems, implementing modifications and continuously supporting users in their work.
  • You will be developing service processes and tools further co-operating in a global and fast-paced environment with complex dependencies.


Key responsibilities and
accountabilities

  • Support and develop Cathelco SAP BusinessOne ERP.
  • Prioritize, coordinate and participate in the development work in the area together with the global and local ICT team.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal key users, Service desk, and external resources and vendors where needed.
  • Participate in development projects in the area.
  • Implement maintenance tasks within SAP BusinesOne ERP landscape.


Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Suitable education (e.g. M.Sc. or B.Sc. in information technology).
  • Practical working experience and hands-on skills with SAP ERP.
  • Technical understanding of business application architecture including ERPs, integrations, SQL and APIs.
  • Understanding of different business processes and relevance of IT systems.
  • Testing and documentation skills, ability to instruct others.
  • Customer-focused communication and collaboration skills in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Productive and fearless can-do attitude, organized approach to making things happen.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • In the job you will benefit from a high drive to support people in their work, experience in business processes and technical system maintenance tasks.
  • Technical knowledge, experience and understanding in ERPs will be beneficial in order to succeed. You will also find use of courage to point out the non-optimal development ideas to control the workload, roadmap and landscape.
