Factory Cleaner

We are seeking a cleaner join our staff and work at our site in Witham. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the required standards. You will also ensure all H&S and compliance policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Your duties include:

• Effectively communicate to Managers/Shift Supervisors/Operators regarding any issues or concerns over any hygiene issues within the shift.
• Keep areas clean and to high standards including rest rooms, corridors, reception, and canteen.
• Ensure that all training is adhered to and all required areas are controlled to meet Company PPE and COSHH standards.
• Working to a timely manner as to maximise efficiency and completing additional tasks at quieter periods.
• Handle chemicals as per COSHH training and regulations.
• Comply with the Cleaning Schedule.
• Comply with existing Cleaning Instruction and SOP’s.

Undertake all aspects of cleaning within operational areas when required

Skills and experience required:

• Good level of understanding of the English language.
• Understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace.
• Experience of working within a factory environment.
• Good practical skills.
• The ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Good team working skills.
• The ability to follow instructions.
• An awareness of Health & Safety.
• A willingness to work flexibly.
• Willing to take any training required for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.71-£10.72 per hour
