Contract Supervisor, Scottish Borders

Working with our Harvesting Managers who buy trees, millions of them every year, you’ll need a good business head to make sure you work closely together to offer our clients the very best service, and be able to learn the different options and the financial implications of them all.

You will build relationships with our established hauliers and harvesting contractors to plan how to best tackle each site to protect both the site and our people working on it, this will all be overseen by your Area manager who will be on hand to assist in all aspects of your day to day work. Then there’s all the technology; harvesting machines that are programmed to cut the best from every tree, forwarders that know precisely where every felled tree is lying, specialised lorries which minimize their impact on the roads, mapping software on your laptop, your phone and on the screen of the harvesting machines all of which provides you with state of the art technology to assist you with industry leading contract supervision.
