About this opportunity

As a Solution Architect, you are part of the Technology Architecture team that sits within the Technology Solutions function. Your role can be customer facing and is accountable for the solution during the entire project’s lifecycle, from the initial client requirements gathering through to implementation and acceptance.


This role remains the point of technical authority on the Solution through the process and will work closely with Pre-sales, Product, PMO, Technology Domain leads and Operations teams to design solution which encompasses the full Red Bee portfolio of Access Services, Content Discovery services, Broadcast & Media services, OTT and Media Hive services.


What you will do

  • Work with customers and presales teams to fully understand and define solution requirements
  • Ensure full alignment within Red Bee teams, including Operations, and with the Customer as to the scope of requirements and deliverables; identify potential gaps with initial proposal or risks and address these early through the change requests or as otherwise agreed
  • Identify as earliest as possible items within project scope which deviate from standard existing Product features, and engage with Product and Platforms teams to gather Product steering, assess development feasibility, costs impact, and timeline implications
  • Work with project management to provide necessary inputs, and ensure that business case is accurately costed for the technical components, and reflects provisional timeline
  • Throughout the project lifespan, report to Project Manager on issues, risks and mitigation plans related to the Solution delivery
  • Develop high quality technical presentations and provide customer presentations to support project execution, and potential growth through change requests


You will bring

  • Extensive experience in understanding customer requirements and mapping them to technical capabilities to deliver the required outcome
  • Experience of crafting Solutions in one or more of the following Technology domains is preferable: Playout, Media Management, Access Services, MCR, Production, Content Discovery, Post-Production, Contribution and Distribution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts in an engaging and accessible way for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid understanding of the Red Bee portfolio of services, with deep technical knowledge of Red Bee Platforms’ technical capabilities and limitations
