This may include:
- Taking responsibility for ensuring our assets meet performance and legal requirements
- Technical leadership of other team members, assisting with their development and supporting the Team Leader
- Operational plans
- Investment Planning
- Working as a ‘Senior User’ on various projects
- Leading on communications and engagement with partners
- Developing and assisting in the delivery of asset performance projects and programmes of work
- Leading on data management improvements
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents, or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
Asset Performance Teams manage flood and coastal erosion risk assets to reduce the impact of flooding. We do this by managing the whole lifecycle of our assets, including the effects of climate change through planning, delivery, maintenance and decommissioning.
Formal qualifications or experience, in civil engineering, asset management or similar are essential. You will be expected to solve asset management problems and understand engineering reports and use them to inform outcomes. Please do not be deterred from applying if you don’t have a degree - we also value practical experience in the water or asset management environment.
You should be working towards being a member of an appropriate professional body e.g. ICE/CIWEM/IAM.
The annual salary for this role is £37,462.
Your office base will be Ceres House, Lincoln. Interview and assessment will be week commencing 15th of May 2023.
