What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

The shift patterns include working days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays 12.5 hours per day, 3-4 days a week.

Ballington House is a 13-bed mental health rehabilitation hospital that provides services for women with complex mental health needs. It is situated in its own grounds and is close to all local amenities.

Ballington House has a full multi-disciplinary team made up of nursing, psychology, psychiatry, and occupational therapy that provide relevant therapeutic interventions to ensure that the women we care for are given every opportunity to continue along their personal recovery pathways.
