Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager (Cleaning Services)

Responsible to: Managing Director

Salary: Competitive Salary based on experience. In addition to this you will have use of a company vehicle and fuel card, sales related bonus and an enhanced annual leave allowance.

Area of work: Ideally located in Yorkshire/Derbyshire, working from our Chesterfield head office.

Hours of work: Full time; min. 40-45 hours per week – permanent position.

Times of Work: Flexible in accordance with needs of the job, predominately Monday to Friday.

Key Requirements:

• Provide Operational Management support across client sites.
• Completion of Site Audits – with both Staff / Clients – resolving any issues in timely manner.
• Manage staff attendance system / holiday and sickness to ensure all shifts are covered.
• To carry out site out-of-hours spot-checks on a regular basis.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices on site.
• Recruit new cleaning staff members as required.
• Provide training and support to cleaning operatives.
• Provide discipline procedures to cleaning operatives as required.
• Diarise, organise, schedule, and manage a variety of tasks and delegate duties to mobile support staff members and site-based cleaning operatives.
• Respond to any Client complaints and take the appropriate course of action in a timely manner to resolve issues raised.
• Manage stock equipment and supplies of cleaning materials for sites.
• Set up / staff / mobilise new sites as required.
