Position Overview & Specifications

Efficio are currently looking for Data Analysts to join their growing Digital Delivery team. Whether you are a fresh graduate who is wanting to start a career in Digital or somebody who has already had some experience in data analysis, this will be an exciting opportunity for you! As part of Efficio’s Digital business, the data teams deliver a range of standard and bespoke technology products to our clients to complement our market-leading eFlow platform and procurement consulting services.
Candidates will either be familiar with SQL and at least one visualisation technology or have a strong interest in these and willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who likes operating in a varied, fast moving, dynamic environment and enjoys contributing towards continuous innovation, efficiencies and learning of the whole organisation.
A typical engagement involves implementation of both standard and bespoke (incl. the design and creation) of BI solutions using SQL and Tableau, or an implementation of one or more apps from our eFlow suite. The job may include defining the problem, documenting requirements and designing associated processes. Most of our team are all-rounders, able to tackle any phase of the technology transformation cycle.

Our team thrive on the fast-paced, short-lived project lifecycle that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-directed work coupled with efficient collaboration and effective, open communication.
The team are based in our London headquarters, but are required to travel globally as client engagements require.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to draw insights out of large data sets and implement technical solutions that enable this on an ongoing basis

  • Use SQL to load, transform and query data from a variety of sources

  • Produce well designed Tableau dashboards that are easy to use and allow users to draw actionable insight from their data

  • Explore and document business and technical requirements

  • Present outputs to internal and external stakeholders

  • Support delivery of technical training courses

  • Support our culture of continuous improvement by bringing innovative ideas, new technology and new processes to the team

  • Author clear, concise technical documentation

  • Essential Requirements

  • A strong academic background

  • A keen interest in working with data and data visualisation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability,

  • Proactive, enquiring approach

  • Desirable Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SQL, preferably MS SQL

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau; similar experience with other visualisation technologies also good

  • Experience of a technology transformation project: from requirements gathering through to implementation. This can be from internal or consulting experience

  • Proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Another major European language (in addition to English)
