IT Teacher

Education World are proud to be working in partnership with a Secondary School in Bishop Auckland to support them to fill their day-to-day, short and long-term roles.

The school is looking for an IT Teacher, starting in April 2023. This is a full time role, where you will be working 5 days a week covering maternity.

As an IT Teacher, you will be teaching GCSE and BTEC, as well as teaching across KS3 and KS4. Your role as an IT Teacher will be to ensure students engage with the curriculum as they grow into independent and confident learners. The ideal IT Teacher will be creative, adaptable and have a passion for teaching.

The Role:

• Maternity Cover
• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:00
• Key Stage 3 & 4
• April start date
• £125 - £160 per day

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant QTS qualification
• IT specialism
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
• Basic understanding of the national Key Stage Curriculum
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence to manage a class of mixed ability pupils
• Strong behaviour management skills
