About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a current undergraduate or postgraduate student to gain work experience with the Digital Learning Division of Learning Services to give you the opportunity to learn new digital skills in relation to education and education technologies.

The internship will also provide an opportunity to undertake training and professional development in core digital skills. In addition, there will be an opportunity to reflect and evaluate the internship, showcase your work and develop your CVs and interview skills for graduate employment opportunities.

Although predominantly online, there will be some occasions where you will be required to be on site at the Ormskirk campus.

About You

As a Student Intern in Digital Learning you will:

• be enthusiastic with a positive attitude
• be flexible and reliable with a willingness to actively engage in professional development
• be interested in learning digital skills and willing to actively engage in professional development.
• A good understanding of digital platforms such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

To be eligible for the internship you must:

• be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student and be continuing your studies into 2023/24
• be available for the full 10 weeks (or alternative 8 weeks) of the programme
• be able to fully commit to 35 hours per week
