Position Overview & Specifications

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate the area of responbsilitly to ensure Zero Mind set and establish continuous imrpovement approach of the area.
  • Deliver set operational targets for individual Value stream through leading, managing and inspiring Technical Supervisors and Operation team members.
  • Build employee capability through identifying training need, monitoring competencies and regular 1:1 conversation.
  • Drive lean implementation to deliver cost performance and improve daily way of working.
  • Ensure on time delivery to customer demands in safe, quality compliant and cost productivity.
  • Support relationships and work collaboratively with key stake holders and functional values stream (Supplychain, Planning, Quality and Engineering)
  • Optimise and improve processes with continuous improvement activates.
  • Devise and implement an effective departmental plan to maximise productivity focusing on right deliverables and using and maintaining the Eaton manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure an effective integration of all team members to deliver effective processes to achieve employee satisfaction
  • Management of people issues such as effective 1 to 1's and development plans to maximising operator engagement
  • Supporting and leading where required any management procedure such as disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Understand, develop and reacted to trend analysis reports to highlight and prevent failings across department
  • Ensure any issues are communicated across functions within the value stream to achieve quick resolution to problems
  • Produce Productivity data in time for daily meeting
  • Demonstrated success in achieving results along with strong financial acumen and project management
  • Input accurate and timely payroll information for departmental team members for weekly submit ion to payroll
  • Use systematic processes to identify and effectively utilise leading indicators (Hi5) to support key departmental cadence to drive necessary actions
  • To be a true expert in key EBS tools and able to teach the core skills to their departmental workforce
  • To generate an environment where most CI activities are generated proactively and enable improvements through collaboration with CI department
  • To enable an environment where systematic process support employee care for safety, Quality and efficiency
  • Support employee development and activities which are linked to site to ensure employee growth and competence in their core skills
  • Ensure manufacturing competence and goals are clearly defined and monitored to ensure departmental working population achieve full potential
  • Ensure departmental CI efforts are extended beyond the physical operation department and add value to site value stream
  • Complete performance evaluation and coaching for all department direct and indirect workforce
  • Follow and comply with Quality management system based on ISO 9001-2018
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Employee Management skill
  • Continuous Improvement or 6 Sigma

Skills:

  • Strong product knowlegde for Signalling, CCTV or Transformation
  • IT literate- EBS, ELSS, presentation skills, SAP
  • Understanding of fire system design and industry regulations
