The job itself

Uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington, Sewerby Hall and Gardens are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work in the zoo.

The successful applicants will be expected to carry out animal husbandry duties and supporting tasks, be customer facing, undertake simple repairs, cleaning and painting, maintain security and general maintenance of the zoo area and paddocks.

Team players and hard workers are rewarded with a great induction and training package, staff uniform, as well as reduced leisure centre membership, across ten leisure centres in the East Riding.
