We are really pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Neuro-developmental team in Bedfordshire and Luton CAMHS services. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about mental health wellbeing and able to creatively engage young people with Neuro-developmental needs.
We are a team that prides itself on creative, innovative and evidenced based approaches to our work with service users and carers and value a supportive and reflective culture in the work environment. There will be scope to develop areas of specialist practice through further training.
The CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team (NDT) offers ASD assessments to young people over the age of 13 years and the post-holder will work particularly with children and young people on the ASD assessment pathway within CAMHS Bedfordshire and Luton. The post will be based in Bedfordshire.
The successful post-holders will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the multi-disciplinary team. As a band 4 clinician, the post-holder will hold a degree autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their practice through regular supervision, appraisal and audit.
The team is part of Bedfordshire and Luton CAMHS which is a large, dynamic and successful CAMHs service mainly comprising of 4 emotional and behavioural teams, a crisis team and an eating disorders service.
We offer regular opportunities for staff to undertake individualised CPD.
Bedfordshire and Luton CAMHS has a thriving service-user participation group which meets regularly to consider service development initiatives. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to join in a number of quality improvement (QI) projects which can lead to innovations within the Service.
