maintenance mechanic

A Plumbing & Heating Supervisor/Fitter is required for a Mechanical services contractor based in Marden, Kent. The company works in the commercial sector undertaking works in a range of buildings such as schools, offices, churches and sports pavilions up to the value of £1.5million (mechanical value). The role will be site based and will entail overseeing the running of the project including sub contractor management and lower ranked employees.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Essential:

• Experience in a similar role within the commercial sector
• Strong technical knowledge of all the mechanical services systems i.e. heating, plumbing, (Essential) ventilation and A/C (Desirable)
• Punctual, organised and Hard working
• Competent using Microsoft and office programmes
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Gas Safe Engineer
• 5+ years on-site experience
• Press fit pipework Experience

Beneficial:

• CSCS trained
• SSSTS qualification
• First Aid trained

The responsibilities are as follows:

• Health and safety
• Overseeing the running of projects
• Project valuations
• Sub-contractor Management
• Daily financial management
• Attending progress meetings

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

Contract: Full time

Salary: £38-43k
