Position Overview & Specifications
You will be given the required training, support and development to become a key member of the Operations Team, specialising in the commissioning of APT (Application Technology) equipment.
You will develop your skills and gain experience working alongside experienced Robot Commissioning Engineers to gain a full working knowledge of Durr Ltd Application Technology (APT) equipment and be able to provide effective commissioning & service activities of APT equipment.
You will support the achievement of operational performance and acceptance of APT equipment to meet the design criteria laid down by Durr Limited and/or clients specifications.
You will assist in the provision all relevant documentation throughout the commissioning & servicing period and at completion to Company procedures and work instructions.
You will commit to continual professional development and work alongside experienced engineers to develop into the role of Robot Commissioning Engineer. Your Skills
Ideally you will already have gained a relevant Engineering qualification such as an Apprenticeship or HNC/HND in a electrical or multi-skilled engineering.
You will have a good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering with some practical hands on work experience in an engineering environment.
Experience of automotive / related industries would be preferred.
A knowledge of robotics and experience of commissioning products and systems would be preferred but not essential.
A desire to progress and develop knowledge and skills, attending training courses as necessary.
You will have good PC skills with the ability to use MS office applications. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with the customer at all levels.
You will be methodical and accurate with strong communication and problem solving skills. You will be self motivated and have the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.
Although our Head Office is in Warwick, you will spend the vast majority of your time working on customer sites around the UK and sometimes overseas, for either short or extended periods. You will therefore need to be flexible with regards to travel and working time since weekends and some shifts will be required.
