YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The purpose of this role as the Hygiene Operative at Dr. Oetker, is to ensure that factory requirements are supported, allowing the smooth manufacture of products that adhere to the high-quality standards expected at Dr. Oetker.

• Ensure visual standards are being adhered to at all times across the factory and notify Supervisor of any issues that cannot be resolved.
• Inspect all areas of work daily, identifying any areas requiring specific attention and act accordingly.
• Inform team leader of any issues that cannot be resolved. Follow up on actions agreed.
• Takes an active role in identifying continuous improvements in their relevant area relating to quality and health and safety.
• To comply with and ensure that all safe working practices, policies, and work methods are adhered to at all times.
• Ensures all tasks to which he/she has been trained to are completed to the highest standard.
• Responds quickly to unexpected issues and work with other departments to ensure the plant meets its operational goals.
• Work activities will be completed outside and inside.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Joining basic rate of £10.73 rising £11.46 after relevant training with further progression available
• Opportunities for overtime at x 1.5
• Weekly paid, 37.5 contractual hours per week on rotating weeks of am/pm shifts, Wednesday to Friday 05:40-14:10 and 13:00 to 21:30 rotating weekly and Saturday / Sunday (05:40 to 14:1033 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) which increases with service.
