We are looking new Team Leaders to join the management team across our London stores. Supporting both the Store Manager & Deputy Store Manager, our Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring the customer experience is memorable for all the right reasons and act as service role models to the rest of the team. You’ll lead the team from the shop floor with a coaching mentality and find innovative ways to keep the team engaged and energised. This role would suit someone with a few years experience in retail who enthusiastic about building their career in retail management.

THE GIG

  • Aid the store management team in cultivating a great working environment within your store, always ensuring your teams well-being is at the heart of decision making
  • Assist in the execution day to day retail operations in store e.g. key holding, VM, stock/delivery, admin, housekeeping.
  • Sell Dr. Martens product by delivering an excellent experience, be a role model and brand ambassador & energise your team to drive sales to meet and exceed store KPI’s.
  • Train and coach your team to deliver against store targets (sales revenue, inventory, mystery shop) and deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Act as a bridge of communication between the Sales Assistants & Management team encouraging a culture of open feedback.
  • Maintain health & safety and security standards within the store.
  • With your expert knowledge, deal with more complex customer enquiries, go the extra mile to resolve to the satisfaction of your customers.
  • Take ownership
  • Be a trusted key holder – opening and closing the store and assuming responsibility in the absence of your store manager.
