Position Overview & Specifications

Business Development Coordinator – SW London – £30,000 to £35,000 Dependant on Experience

My client, a successful serviced office provider on the FTSE 250 listed Real Estate Investment Trust, managing circa four million square feet of business space across 60 properties in the UK, are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Coordinator to support the Business Development team in coordinating meetings and projects across value-add services and partnerships.

You will join their stunning office in SW London where you will be supporting the Business Development Manager, Head of Business Development and Hospitality Operations Manager. You will be typically coordinating meeting rooms, responding to customer queries, handling the customer app, team rooms and dealing with events and film bookings

You will need to be highly organised and able to multi-task, alongside having an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service which is at the heart of their culture and values.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to both customers and centre staff for meeting rooms across the portfolio
  • Manage the meetings room inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Create and manage corporate partnerships and relationships with booking platform
  • Monitor operations and liaise with centre teams to ensure best customer service
  • Manage the customer feedback portal for meeting rooms
  • Report on weekly income and monitor trends
  • Co-ordinate with the wider business and developer input to the app project for the firms’ app
  • Ensure all team rooms are well presented and work with relevant team to ensure maximum occupancy
  • Keep the team room tracker up to date and feedback to finance for reconciliation
  • Manage the inbox and all relevant paperwork for all events and filming enquiries
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with our strategic partners
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure all BD services are fully exploited from a marketing perspective and aligned with core messaging
  • Carry out other BD administrative tasks where required

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in Coordinator/Team Secretarial role ideally within the Real Estate industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Audio typing
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and anticipative
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrating initiative, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude as well as adopting a flexible attitude to work
  • Analytical approach
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (Possibility to work from home up to 2 days a week but may be required in office full-time depending on the needs of the business)
