Education Inclusion Officer

Contract Type: Temporary, 1 year, fixed term, Full time, 37 hours a week, term time.

This Grade 8 post within Learner Engagement will provide dedicated resource in relation to the increase in permanent exclusion and includes advocacy for parents. The post holder will also monitor alternative provision and provide local authority challenge regarding permanent exclusions and suspensions for all schools. In addition, the post holder will offer guidance where an ECHP pupil has been excluded.

The Learner Engagement Team support schools, academies and providers across the Doncaster borough, so an ability to build and maintain good working relationships is essential. We are looking for a team player who is highly motivated with a great sense of humour.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career and gain invaluable experience in the Children, Young People and Families Directorate. The skills and experience gained from this position may help a candidate in recruitment to a permanent role or assist in developing their career within the Council.
