Position Overview & Specifications
Main Purpose of the Job (general tasks):
To achieve Service Level Agreements’ which have been agreed with the airlines
To achieve OTP (on time performance)
To deliver the promises our Customers’ make (airlines)
Responsibilities (detailed tasks):
Checking in of Passenger and Baggage for their respective flights
Comply with safety and security at all times, ensuring security questions are asked of passengers at check in
Checking Passport and Visa Documentation
Offer and provide assistance to customers, including those with special needs
Monitoring of Baggage Weights and applying Excess Baggage Charges if applicable
Positive reconciliation of Passengers at Boarding Gates
Provide announcements to passengers at Boarding Gates
Boarding and disembarkation of passengers
To comply with the CAA regulations
To comply with GAL (Gatwick Airport Limited) Authority Byelaws
To be able to obtain an Airport Airside ID which requres security clearance.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
