Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Sector Officer to join the Local Economy team to support the delivery of the Ministerial priorities in
the Maritime sector. The new role will play a key part in shaping the future of Jersey’s maritime sector at a critical time.
Through a combination of partnerships managed by the team – most importantly with Ports of Jersey Ltd - and direct engagement with stakeholders across industry, the postholder will implement and shape policy and decision making, enabling Jersey to unlock connectivity and economic growth, ensure Jersey’s economic resilience, and uphold the highest standards in maritime regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will be of a dynamic and commercially-minded nature, comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and managing a variety of projects involving multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of the sector or experience working in a maritime-related role previously would be a big advantage.
