Systems Integration Engineer

Looking for Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support the development of virtual training solutions to external customers across the defence market. This role will have a mixture of Hardware Integration and Software Testing so experience in both is desirable.

You will have the opportunity for remote working in this role, but on-site work in my clients Portsmouth office will be required on occasion.

My client is a leading global defence organisation who supply their customers with complex engineering solutions across the space. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold a British passport and be willing to undergo an SC Security Clearance.

• Translate system requirements into appropriate Test specifications
• Investigation and analysis of complex system level faults
• Collaborating with test leadership to design and use appropriate progress metrics
• Develop effective Test solutions to deliver to cost and quality targets
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

• Solid understanding of the test process life cycle and toolsets
• The ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders and within the test engineering team
• Experience using DOORS
• Experience using JIRA
• Knowledge of automation test tools
