Position Overview & Specifications
Introduction
Our client is a rapidly expanding group of niche subject matter experts. Operating in the highly technical fields of Cyber Technologies and Software Assurance, they currently provide 30 + specialists into the public and private sectors.
They are an expert group of individuals who are passionate and have the drive to grow this company into one of Cheltenham’s leading resource providers for some of the UK highest security cleared projects.
Key responsibilities
- Work with clients to integrate best practices into their processes and decision-making.
- Handle, merge, and clean multi-source data so it can be further analysed.
- Effectively apply a variety of statistical Investigation and data visualisation techniques.
- Collaborate with teams of technical and non-technical users of various experience and seniority levels.
- Contribute to decision-making that will lead to the successful delivery of projects.
- Expand your data analysis skills through appropriate training and mentorship.
- Work on end-to-end projects, from requirements gathering to implementation.
Skills & experience
- You understand business problems and have the technical knowledge to drive outcomes by drawing insight from data and presenting it using appropriate tools.
- You have strong consulting skills, including knowledge and experience with a variety of techniques and methodologies to understand, elicit and resolve client challenges.
- Experience working in a project environment.
- Experience with different coding languages and data transformation / modelling tools e.g., Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, Azure Data Factory, Power Query.
- Experience using data visualisation tools, e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight.
- Experience owning the end-to-end roadmap for data analytics solutions, including training and handover documentation.
- Experience working with different data types, e.g., weblogs, security, networking, AI, and Big Data.
- Experience in Defence, Government, Security, and Infrastructure sectors.
