Sustainability ConsultantJob Description Summary
We have a brilliant opportunity to join our industry leading team here in London. The team is focused on environmental impact reduction, making buildings healthier and more productive places and enhancing social impacts.This role will be dedicated to ensuring that we are on track to achieve and meet our client’s ESG targets & Net-Zero objectives. You will co-ordinate and collaborate across functions & service lines internally, key supply chain partners and work closely with the client’s ESG and asset management teams on both managed portfolios and new projects.
Job Description
Core Knowledge & Experience:
- Prior experience working on client account as a Sustainability Co-ordinator/Analyst/ Manager
- Proven track record across a variety of property asset classes and client sectors
- Experience with working on projects and/or initiatives that the primary outcome is social impact i.e. changes to employment policies, site accessibility planning, DEI and supply chain policy
- Experience in leading projects on time to deliver seamless client experiences. Delegating to the team to ensure the right expertise and experiences are engaged to gain the most from the available resources, time and desired objectives.
- Experience in successfully taking on responsibility of sizeable and complex client instructions
- Knowledge and/or technical experience in Sustainability & ESG issues and relevant concepts and frameworks where appropriate
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
- Commercial awareness from experience and/or qualification.
- Experience of new build development through to management (construction site experience an advantage).
- Good working knowledge/understanding of building operating systems (mechanical and electrical, controls)
- Good Written Communication Skills & attention to detail.
- Cost control, variance and forecasting reporting.
- IT skills inc. Word, Excel to intermediate level.
- Knowledge of Output Specifications.
- Management of Performance based contracts.
- Experience in working within an ESG culture
