This role will support the UK manager in the design of these products, the user interface for our customers and colleague and the experience this creates in our stores.
This role will support the UX Manager in ensuring our in-store marketing products work seamlessly. This role is a development role with future scope to grow and advance as our store based digital products become a key part of our future strategy. The support UX will be the lead on our in-store customer facing ticketing displays (template for paper and digital) ensuring these are clear, compliant and deliver business focused messaging and the management (with third party) on the usability and delivery of these templates for our customers and colleagues.


As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:


  • Planning – support the forward planning cycle, ensuring that at any given point in time we have clear visibility of pipeline of work be it by brand, by promotion, or by range change
  • Project management – manage initiatives through brief, design, and go live in all our uk and ROI stores
  • Innovation - Continuous review of competitor activity to ensure we remain at the forefront of our digital tools in store ensuring our customers and colleagues remain at the centre of the development of all our in-store marketing products
  • Support the creation of content, workflow, and customer journey content for our in-store tech product across laptops and TVs
  • Support the UX Manager with future product developments for on screen tech that could be expanded into wider categories such as gaming, mobile
  • Ownership of our template design and creation for our in-store ticketing. Using a third-party system maintain our templates consistently, build category developments in line with product changes and support the wider marketing team with our promotional execution on ticketing
  • Stakeholder management - Work closely with the wider stores marketing team plus studio, copy, UAT and CI teams to ensure work is effectively prioritized and completed


You will need:


  • Creative thinker – Be able to challenge the norm and create new ways of working that are customer centric
  • Keen interest and knowledge of software development fundamentals and environments, e.g. Visual Studio, Xcode, Power Platform etc with the ability to transfer to new languages and platforms
  • Copy writing and proof-reading experience, good attention to detail
  • Passionate about customer engagement and communication
  • Budget management experience
  • Stakeholder management
  • Demonstratable experience in software and retail product design.
  • This role will be supported by a apprenticeship qualification for the chosen candidate
