We’re looking for a Web Development Manager to join us in a newly created role to help co-ordinate our onsite developments with a focus on creating a simple, seamless shopping journey for the customer. Reporting into the Head of Digital Customer Experience/CRM and working alongside our Web Projects Manager you’ll be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of web projects within Crew, with the aim of improving the UX, UI, driving customer loyalty and increasing value from our customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Digital Customer Experience and CRM to agree the 12 month development calendar. Working together to develop the rationale, gather requirements and scope new projects
  • Manage budgets for web development and support tickets, prioritising requests with a data-led and customer focused approach to prioritisation
  • Work alongside Project Manager to manage developments; briefing, reviewing, testing, and implementing new developments on time and within budget
  • Perform regular reviews of functionality on other websites to identify new opportunities for the business
  • Utilise research methodologies (customer surveys, user testing, focus groups) as well as tools such as Content Square and Google Analytics to understand customer behaviour and pain points and use this information in data-led decision-making, developments and optimisations
  • Work alongside CRO Executive to build an AB testing roadmap building on our culture or experimentation and optimisation
  • Work alongside the CRM team and CRO Exec to support personalisation on the site
  • Work alongside the external front end developer / designer to ensure that any development activity is optimised and on brand
  • Support the ecommerce team with the adoption of any new functionality and troubleshoot any issues
  • Triage and find resolution for any issues with website, third parties and feeds
  • Manage third parties for GA, GTM and tagging set up
  • Primary contact for our web platform provider

  • Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with internal and external teammates
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage time to meet internal timelines
  • Passionate about creating great user experiences
  • Self-motivated, with excellent planning skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to continually learn and develop new skills
