Position Overview & Specifications

About us:

CQC Investigations comes from a place of solid experience.

With an extensive background in public health services, the team behind CQC Investigations started this business following their own successful appeal against the Care Quality Commission.

Understanding the pressure and stress that staff go through when Special Measures or Enforcements are placed against a Service is key, to not only putting the practical steps in place but equally supporting the teams behind them.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team at CQC Investigations. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and monitor our compliance with the regulations set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other applicable regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to address them effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance programs and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with changes in regulations and ensure that our policies and practices align with the latest requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members on compliance-related matters.
  • Investigate any incidents or complaints related to compliance issues and prepare necessary reports.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of compliance activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in external audits or inspections conducted by regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, healthcare, compliance) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably in the healthcare or regulatory field.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and other applicable industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify compliance gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with staff at all levels and deliver compliance training.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CHC) is a plus.

Join our dynamic team at CQC Investigations and contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity in our operations.
