Primarily day to day roles will be supporting requests for data and reports from customers and internally within the business. Daily jobs will also include analysis of automated reports and highlighting issues to be investigated. As part of the Business intelligence team, you will help and support as necessary to cover the helpdesk and other areas of the IT team as needed. Alongside day to day work you will help to develop the current and new BI systems and support the business & team with new demands/requirements.

OFFICE BASED

· Ensuring current SQL Services and BI reporting tools are optimally configured and running correctly daily.

· Ensuring adherence to all development standards and including change management, code review, documentation, and testing.

· Advising internal customers on how best to leverage available data, and preparing ad-hoc reports/datasets.

· Configuring and managing pricing models/invoicing within the existing BI system

· Document all work and communications to a high professional standard

· Use of programming skills to provide technical solutions to client issues

Key Tasks:

· Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services - SSRS, SSIS & SSAS

· Good MS SQL database design skills

· Experience with T-SQL (Transact SQL) stored procedures

· Microsoft Visual Studio

· Very good working knowledge of Excel would be beneficial

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with SAP – extracting and analysing data

· Experience/knowledge of using SAP Analytics Cloud

· Experience/knowledge of using SAP Finance

· Knowledge of ETL (preferably SQL Server Integration Services, SSIS) and Data modelling capabilities

· An eye for data analysis / spotting trends etc

· (SAP platforms SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC6)
