JUNIOR CARPET PLANNER / ESTIMATOR - BASED IN UK STUDIO

If you are a motivated individual who is looking for a great career opportunity, our busy and friendly Design Studio has a vacancy for a Junior Carpet Planner/Estimator. Working with our extensive client base will enable you to:

• Produce a material takeoff
• Produce 2D visualisations of how the carpet is to be manufactured and installed using our own bespoke software
• Follow floor plans and interpret customer's requirements
• Establish the production roll requirements
• Verify all aspects of production and installation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

As this role is quite specialised the successful candidate will receive the appropriate training in all areas to enable the job to be completed to Company standards, however, the successful candidate must:

• Have excellent numeracy skills
• Experience of Microsoft Excel
• AUTOCAD knowledge would be advantageous but not essential as the calculations and initial layouts are done by hand
• Ability to adapt to bespoke software
• Be methodical and well organized
• Able to take initiative and follow procedures
