Job Description


We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team. This is a home based role with national travel.

Key Responsibilities

Whilst always maintaining a holistic view of the entire relationship with each allocated corporate customer, the role holder will be expected to have a high profile with both senior and operational management both within the customer and Countrywide’s operational businesses, providing clients with knowledgeable advice, guiding their choices and supporting delivery of any change to the service. The ability to manage detail whilst spotting and maximising opportunities is vital and your experience of especially the lender market will be key. Sitting outside of any operational divisions, the role holder is encouraged to identify and raise issues/areas of improvement that will enhance the customers relationship with the Group.

Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Being the face and the single point of contact of Countrywide for multiple clients
  • Build positive, long-term relationships and support clients and prospects in the decision-making process by identifying solutions that most closely meet their needs
  • Networking across all levels within the Account to maximize business opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the business ensure Account development plans for each client are continually updated
  • Driving positive outcomes for both the client and Countrywide
  • To represent the Group at pitches, presentations plus, industry and Countrywide own events
  • Representing and providing updates on overall Group relationship during monthly/quarterly operational and strategic customer meetings/conference calls
  • Drafting or supporting the drafting of proposals for use externally or internally
  • Establish and Maintain relationships with non-Countrywide contracted clients to ensure Countrywide are in the best place to enter any tender discussions.
  • Understand the market and product innovation requirements to engage with relevant client stakeholders
  • Supporting team members in discussions and presentations whereby senior client stakeholders are in attendance

Experience you have that will set you up for success:

  • Over 5 years’ sales/relationship management experience, either as a supplier or within a lender
  • Experience in some of the services Countrywide provide will be a considerable advantage, especially surveying
  • Enjoys working in a small, dynamic team and in a role that is diverse and requires a degree of juggling and prioritisation experience
  • Ability to work alongside others, who will be managing different accounts, to share best practice, ideas and general industry knowledge
