Production Operatives

We are now looking for Production Operatives to join our busy teams at Tottle Bakery, in Nottingham, where we have been making our famous Pork Pies since 1931.

Shifts: Days 06:00-18:00, 07:00-19:00 - 2 shift patterns, Nights 18:00-06:00, 19:00-07:00- 3 shift patterns

Roles are varied but may include:

• Placing pastry products onto a moving production line
• Weighing and topping pies with ingredients
• Removing finished products off racks
• Packing products from the line ready for dispatch
• Manual handling tasks including standing while working, pulling or pushing and some lifting of products or ingredients

You will:

• be trained in Health & Safety, to keep you and your work colleagues safe at work
• be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety, to keep our products safe for our customers
• be trained in additional tasks so you can develop into other roles within the business
• be involved in assisting in all areas of production from manufacturing, packing and Dispatch

What we need from you:

• Basic English skills with ability to understand instructions
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, and follow instructions
• You will be reliable, and hard-working and can work within a team in a very busy, fast-paced environment
• Good attendance, flexibility to hours, and punctual
