Position Overview & Specifications

What you'll be doing:

Air Conditioning Engineer – Plymouth site based.

Up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience).

5 days a week, Mon – Fri shift pattern.

Emergency out of hours on call to support site services.

We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Plymouth team, you will responsible for delivering a reactive and PPM program of works to the client on a day to day basis.

Commitment to customer care, working collaboratively with colleagues, clients & customers is at the heart of what we do every day. We'll look to you to carry out minor/major installation projects and reactive callouts on all associated HVAC equipment, general fault finding and repairs to electrical assets and services. You will also be required to maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic.

More about the role:

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Completing PPMs and remedial works including producing job reports and job closure.
  • Managing SLA on jobs to ensure they are closed down correctly and on time.
  • Reporting on any operational incidents impacting building functionality.
  • Working closely with the wider FM team on site.
Who you are:
  • An enthusiastic self-motivated individual with a drive & passion for delivering high quality work.
  • Fully qualified air conditioning engineer is essential with FGAS.
  • Sound technical understanding of M&E systems including PPM, Reactive Maintenance and Fault Rectification.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, knowledge of CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in working as part of a team whilst having the ability to work independently.
  • Forward thinking with ability to spot potential improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and client on site.
