Senior Erlang Developer (Telecommunications)

We are seeking an experienced Erlang Developer with knowledge of telecommunications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Erlang programming language and its application in highly concurrent, distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance telecommunication systems using Erlang.
• Maintain and improve existing codebase for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Deploy releases for production systems, ensuring high availability.
• Actively participate in code reviews to improve software quality.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and stakeholders.
• Support system integration efforts.
• Document development and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Erlang and concurrent programming concepts.
• Experience in telecommunications is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Proficiency in network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and protocol implementation.
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience with database technologies like CouchDB.
• Knowledge of other languages such as Node JS, Python, etc. is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
