Cineworld Hemel Hempstead is a newly refurbished 17 Screen, Complexity 1 cinema boasting an IMAX, Superscreen and Starbucks, located on Jarman Square Leisure Park. The management team consists of a General Manager and Deputy General Manager. In role you would be responsible for leading a team of 2 Cinema Managers, 5 Team Leaders and a team of approximately 50 Team Members. You will also be responsible for 1 Starbucks Store Manager, 3 Store Supervisors and a team of 8 Baristas. Due to the fast paced and challenging nature of the cinema this role is perfectly suited to an experienced Cinema/Store Manager or current Deputy General Manager who is looking to progress within Cineworld. The ideal candidate will be fully available 7 days a week.

As a Deputy General Manger, you will use your existing experience to ensure the smooth running of the cinema. This diverse role will see you managing the commercial aspects of the cinema. In addition to this, you will be highly visible providing a superior level of customer service and leading the team to deliver an unrivalled cinema experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deputise for the General Manager in their absence

• Working in partnership with the General Manager, responsible for all recruitment, development and management of the cinema team with particular responsibility for your direct reports

• Implement and deliver and achieve business objectives through your management team

• Ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times

• Stock Control

• Cash reconciliation

• Addressing and resolving customer complaints

• Coaching Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members

• Adherence to Health and Safety legislation

• Monitoring compliance and maintaining standards

• Delivery of the Company Strategy to be the best place to watch a movie

• Performance management

• Operations management

• Budgetary management
