Cheaper Online Ltd, an online retailer based in Blackpool are recruiting for warehouse team members to expand our existing team.

The successful person will be working as part of our existing team of warehouse operatives, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The team is responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked and packed on time and to a good standard, keeping the flow of goods moving through the warehouse and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy. Other warehouse duties will be required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Picking orders from location
· Packing of products to a high standard
· Using hand held scanners
· Sorting, locating to shelf and booking in new deliveries of stock
· Palletizing packed orders and moving with pump truck

· Heavy lifting of stock deliveries from pallet and container will be required
· Sorting packed orders by courier
· Dealing with couriers in a polite and friendly manner
· General warehouse tidying, bin emptying and compacting cardboard/plastic
· Restocking of packaging materials to packing benches
· Following all health and safety procedures, rules and regulations
· Communicating and working effectively as part of a team
· Listening to and following orders from senior staff

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Be motivated and driven and have a desire to learn new skills
• Good communication skills and ability to listen and follow instruction
• Physically fit and able to maintain stamina throughout the shift
• Common sense and logical thinking to identify issues and seek further guidance if necessary
• Be able to use a computer to check order details using our software
• Friendly and approachable and work well within a team or on individual tasks
• Previous warehouse experience and FLT experience would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided

Hours: Mon-Fri, 5 days a week, 08:00-16:00. Weekends and some evenings will be required through peak months (Nov-Dec).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
