Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5hrs on rota including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays)
Salary: £21,371 - £25,598 per annum

This is a Permanent opportunity with a closing date of 5th June 2023.



The role of Young Parent’s Supported Housing Officer is central to maximising the opportunity for young parents and their child/ children in Lewis Crescent to achieve positive outcomes that will enable them to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives during and after leaving Centrepoint’s services.



The post holder will be responsible for providing support to young parents and expectant parents in our accommodation based service in Sunderland. They will also be responsible for providing support to young parents and expectant parents.



This role involves:
  • Working within the Young Parent Service, providing support to vulnerable young Parents and single young people.
  • Working in a team with a strong understanding of the developmental needs of children, the challenges of parenting.
  • Promote a vibrant culture with an uncompromising commitment to excellence, reflecting and responding to health and housing needs and fully integrating support packages that reflect the needs of those accessing the service.
  • Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with young parents / Young people to identify and meet their personal, social, health, learning and work needs.
  • Follow the lead from line management to ensure that all performance and contractual targets are met and exceeded.
