Security Guard

This position requires a flexible and professional Security Guard to work in a Retail environment. The right candidate will work closely with Loss prevention and the store management to ensure the safety of people,premises,property and profit. This position is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a security or law enforcement capacity and has a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and staff members, as well as protecting the store's assets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the store, identifying any potential security risks or breaches

• Detect and deter any shoplifting or fraudulent activity

• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies that may arise

• Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity

• Monitor and control access to the store and its premises

• Complete regular security checks of the store and its assets

• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all security incidents and activities

• Provide clear and concise written and verbal reports to store management

• Ensure that all security equipment and systems are in good working order and report any faults or issues immediately

• Complete any other duties as required by store management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Retail Security Guard or similar role

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong observation and attention to detail skills

• Strong conflict resolution skills

• A valid SIA License

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
