Position Overview & Specifications
The post holder will support the Clinical Education Administration Manager in monitoring uptake of the Trusts commissioned educational courses. You will also liaise with HEIs & private suppliers to support individuals in accessing their CPD allowance, ensuring staff are able to deliver the most up to date evidence based care to service users.
- To work closely with the Clinical Education Administration Manager and Heads of Education to ensure systems and processes are in place to support the commissioning of appropriate education and training courses for all non-medical staff.
- To manage queries relating to non-medical education funding and courses from staff and Education Providers. To act as a point of contact for commissioned courses.

- To manage queries relating to non-medical education funding and courses from staff and Education Providers. To act as a point of contact for commissioned courses.
- To liaise with HEIs regarding commissioned courses
- To monitor course contract utilisation (uptake and spend) against commissioned courses
- To record uptake and attendance on commissioned courses. Advise appropriate staff on university modules results, raising any concerns.
- To raise purchase orders and track, record and monitor invoices relating to training and education.
- To produce data for reports as required.
- To act as a point of contact for commissioned courses and to administer and book training including training venues where necessary
- To maintain an effective filing system for applications received
- To act as the point of contact for external applicants to courses as required and manage the administration of the courses
- To prepare documents (letters, memos, reports etc.) by copy or audio typing using Microsoft Office software, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- To manage telephone calls, post and direct contracts with staff in internal and external agencies in a professional manner, using judgement and discretion where necessary and referring complex matters to the Clinical Education Administrations Manager.
- To ensure the maintenance of adequate stock levels of stationery and other equipment
- To undertake any training to fulfil the requirements of the post and to enhance personal knowledge and development
- Any other duties appropriate to the grade and post.
