ABOUT GUILDHOUSE SCHOOL

We are currently looking to appoint a day cleaner into the operations teams. This will support the teams throughout the schools day. You will be working 8.5 hour shifts per day Monday to Friday.

OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
Cleaning duties across all the College and School of English buildings, residences and grounds on a day-to-day basis. Health and safety awareness and knowledge is essential.

REPORTS TO
You will be directly responsible to the Cleaning Supervisor as part of the Operations Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Cleaning toilets and communal areas throughout the day, ensuring the areas are clean and tidy by checking at regular intervals.
• Keeping outside areas free of rubbish
• Assisting Cleaning supervisor
• Assisting with legionella checks
• Escorting Contractors, when needed
• Reporting any cleanliness/health and safety/repair issues to line manager promptly
• Deal with all customers (students, staff, external) with courtesy and promptness at all times.
• Occasional duties in the canteen
• Any other duties required by line manager or Operations Manager
