Toshiba Carrier UK (a Carrier company) is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and supply of energy-efficient air conditioning systems.
Carrier is currently recruiting for a Product Management Apprentice based from our Stockport office.
What will you be doing?
As a Product Management Apprentice, the main goal of this role is to assist with preparation of technical support material including specification documents; Excel spreadsheets; Word documents; Adobe PDF documents; technical bulletins; and any other materials required to support colleagues and customer.
Upon successful completion, you will gain a BTEC Level 2 & 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning plus go onto do your HNC level 4
  • Processing telephone enquiry calls and emails
  • Communicating with Technical Support Team
  • Communicating with Controls Team
  • Assist and interface with: Direct customers and distributors
  • Product processing for residential, light commercial and VRF air conditioning
  • Analysis and comparison
  • Competitor monitoring
  • Market share research
  • Business opportunity surveys
  • Website document maintenance

What we’re looking for:
  • Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, and ICT
  • Ideally have a driving licence, if not you will need to have one by the end of the apprenticeship
  • Numerate – good with numbers and arithmetic
  • Good problem solver
  • Computer literate and know the basics on Microsoft Office
  • Confident and articulate
  • Someone who is keen to learn, ask questions and wants to be involved – bright and inquisitive with a hunger for learning
  • Organised and ethical
